Keystone, Colorado, is an unincorporated town. As of 2000 Census, 825 reside here.
North Keystone, Colorado, is just far enough away from the action of Mountain House, Lakeside Village, and River Run, that it takes some effort to reach the slopes. Business meetings are held daily at the Keystone Conference Center, located in North Keystone. Large enough to hold several meetings at once, quality banquet dining, team-oriented activities, such as horse-back riding - there are many ways to do business and the Keystone Conference Center aims to please. From major holidays, such as Christmas, Easter, Independence Day, to wine tastings, festivals with live entertainments and food, and skiing races - you won't have trouble finding an event you'll enjoy. Dozens of restaurants dot Keystone. Two AAA four diamond restaurants sit high and low in the mountains. 11,444 ft. high, Alpenglow Stube Zagat's Survey describes as "fabulous old-world food and service and the best setting in the state". Keystone Ranch, once a cattle ranch and lettuce farm, is now one of the best restaurants in Colorado. It has been a AAA four diamond since 1990, has had high scores on Zagat's Survey, and has won the Wine Spectator's Award for Excellence continually since 1996. To give you an indication of the high standards and quality of food and service, Keystone has its own culinary institute. Very little shopping is in North Keystone, but a quick trip to River Run, Mountain House, and Lakeside Village will fix even the most shopping addict. And whether you hike for miles around Keystone, skiing till you can't see straight, or shop till your shoes have holes, there are hands at that make it all better at the Spa at Keystone Lodge. The thrill you seek is exact in Keystone, Colorado. The leisurely solitude is also bountiful in Keystone. Three mountains dominate: North Peak, Dercum Mountain, and The Outback. The A51 Terrain Park is for the thrill seeker, with jumps, funboxes, jibs, rails, half pipes, quarter pipes, and more. If you don't know the first thing about skiing and snowboarding, or if you can sleep on skis and snowboards, there is a lesson with your name on it. Other snow and ice activities abound: gondola touring, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, tubing, sleigh riding, hockey, ice skating, snowbiking, snowcat touring, and fly-fishing.
